The Railway by Edouard Manet

Station Saint-Lazare is a painting made by Édouard Manet in 1873. A section of the nineteenth-century Paris city landscape is partially depicted in the composition. Victorine Meurent, her favorite model, also seen in Manet's works such as Olympia and Lunch on the Grass, posed for the painting. The Saint-Lazare Station is the last work of the painter and his model.
